Seniors Tennis Community Mourns the Passing of Frank Sutcliffe

It is with great sadness that Tennis Canada announces the passing of Frank Sutcliffe who died in January after a lengthy battle with illness.
Sutcliffe was a well-known senior’s tennis player who represented Canada at many international tournaments around the world including team events and ITF tournaments. The Montreal native last represented Canada in 2007 at the World Team Championships as a member of the 75+ men’s team captained by the legendary Lorne Main. The squad finished first and took home the Bitsy Grant Cup.
Sutcliffe was a wonderful sportsman with an outgoing personality who will be greatly missed by the entire tennis family. The Tennis Canada team would like to extend its deepest sympathies to his wife Carmen and their family during this difficult time.
